On 1 February 2010 PCC Lawyers, a boutique firm specialising in employment and industrial law, commenced practice.
PCC Lawyers' goal is to achieve large law firm standards of excellence in legal services within a more flexible, client-oriented framework. The firm has been set up by an experienced team of lawyers - Helen Carter and Jennifer Sant - who have worked in top tier law firms and business. As a boutique firm, we are able to offer a unique style of service delivery at a competitive cost.
Building strong client relationships is the cornerstone of our business. As senior practitioners, we aim to work closely with our clients and handle their questions and problems as quickly and simply as possible. We understand that every organisation needs workplace solutions that complement and enhance the individual culture of their business.
At this dynamic time in workplace law, PCC Lawyers not only appreciates what organisations need to do to comply with the Fair Work Act but how they can use a uniform industrial system to achieve new levels of flexibility and productivity.
"Yes the Fair Work Act does present challenges for employers. But it also puts more control into the hands of employers. Organisations that take the initiative and manage their workforces proactively will prosper. Those that will have difficulty are those that wait for problems to arise before acting. The quality of an organisation’s strategic workplace relations advice will be critical to that business’ success in the new era."
"Enterprise bargaining has once again become central to industrial relations in Australia. Organisations that understand the obstacles and tools provided by the Fair Work Act and incorporate those tools into their long term planning will prosper."
says Helen Carter, Director of PCC Lawyers .
